We are excited to announce that Red Hat was, once again, named to the Triangle Business Journal’s list of Best Places to Work for 2014.

TBJ’s Best Places to Work award honors local companies that go above and beyond the norm to foster a fun, challenging, and rewarding workplace. Winners of the award are chosen based on an employee survey process that focuses on:

  • Team effectiveness
  • Coworker trust
  • Alignment with goals
  • Manager effectiveness

With more than 1,000 full-time associates in the Triangle, N.C. area, Red Hat took home the top prize in the Giant company category.

We’re thrilled that Red Hat is frequently recognized for our workplace culture, both in Raleigh and beyond. In addition to having been recognized by the Triangle Business Journal in the past, Red Hat was also named a 2014 best place to work by Glassdoor.

As Jim Whitehurst said in his State of the Union blog post in December 2013, “As we grow our employee base, I’m proud that Red Hat continues to receive industry recognition as a “best place to work.” Those honors are a direct reflection of the unique culture we’ve worked so hard to cultivate. We’re recruiting the technology industry’s best and brightest, which is translating into solution innovations and industry leadership.”
