Woolworths partnered with Red Hat and TCS to improve its ability to respond to customer demand online. By driving automation and seeking greater infrastructure agility, the company was able to dramatically reduce the amount of time it would take to build a new server, respond to requirements and deliver the high performance network required to meet customer demand. The server footprint was reduced and business agility and resiliency were greatly enhanced. Woolworths can now decide to run a digital campaign and be ready in days. Previously, the time between the business decision to run a campaign and actual execution would be several months.
