Big Data, Big Ecosystem: Red Hat Adds New Certified Partner for Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP HANA

Announced in June 2014 as the foundation of an enhanced collaboration between Red Hat and SAP, Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP HANA offers an open, scalable, integrated and highly available platform featuring the reliability, quality and stability of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. SGI, a leader in high performance computing (HPC) and an early driver of big data technologies, has certified its SGI UV 300H server for Red Hat Enterprise Linux for SAP HANA. The UV 300H is currently SAP-certified at 4 to 20 sockets and up to 15 Terabytes of shared memory, and designed to scale even further to address more extreme analytics workloads . When combined with Red Hat Enterprise Linux's performance, scalability and reliability, SGI's certified solution delivers a powerful option for enterprises in the realm of big data analytics.
