Red Hat launches mobile app to enable partners to save time and build connections

Like a lot of people, our Red Hat partners are busy and they are looking for ways to be more efficient. Gone are the days when they would spend most of their time in a traditional brick and mortar building, complete with an office, desk and computer. They travel to customer, vendor and industry meetings, and events, and they can use the flexibility to be able to work from anywhere.

Red Hat Partner Link is a mobile app that is designed to provide easy access to the partner network, and create a digital expansion of the partner workplace. The app is part of our plan to transform the Red Hat partner journey, with a more simple, flexible way for partners to engage with Red Hat and with each other.

Any member of our partner ecosystem with a business partner portal login can use the app, including distributors, resellers and solution providers, systems integrators, independent software vendors, and cloud and service providers. Available in all geographies and supported in six languages (English, International Spanish, Portuguese Brazilian, Simplified Chinese, Korean and Japanese), the app is a useful tool for partners interested in network expansion, new opportunities and business growth.

With Red Hat Partner Link, partners can:

• Build connections: Craft custom profiles to highlight partner expertise and competencies, search for other partners and connect directly with each other via private message.

• Drive growth: Register a deal using a simplified deal registration form can speed up the process.

• Access resources: View and download a variety of marketing, sales and technical resources, including new microlearning video clips.

Red Hat Partner Link is powered by Red Hat mobile technologies and built on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform so that the app can continue to evolve using the open source platform’s development and integration features.
