Enthusiast, researcher, and author
Gene Kim has been studying high-performing technology organizations since 1999. He was the founder and CTO of Tripwire, Inc. for 13 years. He’s also the co-author of the newly released The DevOps Handbook, as well as The Phoenix Project: A Novel About IT, DevOps, and Helping Your Business Win.

CHRISTIAN POSTA
Principal middleware specialist and architect Red Hat
Christian Posta (@christianposta) is a principal middleware specialist and architect at Red Hat, and is well known for being a frequent blogger, speaker, and open-source enthusiast. He is the author of Microservices by Example and committer on open-source projects, such as Apache ActiveMQ, Apache Camel, Fabric8.io, and others.
Christian works with large companies creating and deploying large-scale, distributed architectures—many of which are now called microservices-based. He enjoys mentoring, training, and leading teams for success with distributed systems concepts, microservices, DevOps, and cloud-native application design.

MERRITTE STIDSTON
Cloud/SDI Solution Technical Solutions Specialist, Intel
Merritte Stidston is a technical solutions specialist at Intel supporting cloud and SDI technologies for advanced analytics platforms, healthcare, retail and e-commerce platforms, and data center systems. He is a certified SAFe Agilist and strong proponent of DevOps. He has over 20 years of IT experience, is a Distinguished Technologist, Fellows Finalist, and former Chief Information Architect for a Fortune 10 company.
