Welcome to another Red Hat Storage Day

One of the strongest market trends currently is the move towards hyperconverged solutions. We see this in the telco sector, in distrubuted environments like many branch offices and stores, but also in the traditional datacenters. And this is logical - the advantages are obvious: maximising your hardware investments by using the same server for storage and compute, standardising thus simplifying future procurement of hardware and also building the foundation for a more automated administration.

Perhaps you have seen these advantages but hesitated due to the lock in mechanisms that the solutions available until now are leading to? Then you should come to Red Hat Storage Day.

In this half day session we will demonstrate an enterprise ready alternative to your traditional hyperconverged vendors. An alternative based on open source components that individually have proven themselves over the last 5 years: Red Hat Virtualization, Red Hat OpenStack, Ansible, Red Hat Gluster Storage and Red Hat Ceph Storage.

During the day you will see how and where all fits, you will see demos of the environment and learn how you can, by using your existing investments, build an modern infrastructure that maximise your resources.
