gov-sec -- US Government Security Standards

About gov-sec
English (USA)

Those who need to comply with US government security requirements often find themselves creating their own compliance and accreditation strategies, needlessly duplicating effort. This list will allow systems administrators, information assurance specialists, auditors, and engineers to discuss these issues. Topics will likely include FIPS-200, DCID 6/3, DISA STIG, and NIAP's Common Criteria process.

This list is for US government employees and contractors. If you have a .gov or .mil address, we'd prefer you use that. Subscription requests from personal email addresses will most likely be rejected.

To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the gov-sec Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.)
