Red Hat was named number 36 on the list of top 100 companies for remote jobs, up from 43 last year. The list is based on an analysis of more than 54,000 companies and their remote job posting history in the FlexJob database. The top 100 companies chosen offer more remote-friendly positions than any others, meaning offering either 100% remote work, partial remote work or having the option for remote work. According to FlexJobs, there has been growth in both the sheer volume of remote job listings and the variety of remote job titles since the list was last published in 2019. The top career fields for remote work continue to be Medical & Health and Computer & IT.
