Red Hat Unveils Next-Generation Process Automation Offering

Red Hat announced the launch of Red Hat Process Automation Manager 7, a comprehensive, cloud-native platform for developing business automation services and process-centric applications across hybrid cloud environments. Process Automation Manager is the next generation of Red Hat's business process management (BPM) offering, Red Hat JBoss BPM Suite, and enables organizations to streamline, automate, measure and continuously improve business operations.

Cowen and Company predicts that Red Hat and Microsoft will be winners when it comes to growth in enterprise container adoption, while VMware could face some challenges long term. "We continue to view Red Hat, which put containers at the core of its stack several years ago, as the best positioned to take advantage of growing container adoption," said Gregg Moskowitz, managing director and senior research analyst at Cowen.
