With many service providers looking to transform their networks and evolve their business, Red Hat strongly believes that open source and cloud technologies have the potential to be the catalyst for the telecommunications industry transformation.

Red Hat Ceph Storage 3 builds on Red Hat’s years of leadership in object storage, enables more robust and better performance at scale, and introduces the ability to deploy storage in containers for greater cost-savings and operational efficiencies.

As the conversation surrounding open source culture - including increased collaboration, transparency, and meritocracy - increases, we wanted to find out how many of our customers believe organizational change is important and what they are doing about it. The Red Hat 2017 Open Source Culture Survey revealed several key findings on changing mindsets and priorities when it comes to how survey respondents’ organizations operate.

Orange is collaborating with Red Hat as part of a joint engineering program to deliver additional features supporting NFV into OpenStack and other open source communities. The intent of the program is to better address the specific needs of communications service providers and their networks when developing technologies.

To meet growing customer expectations for faster, simpler and safer deployment and operations of distributed and scalable clouds, we are excited that Juniper Networks has expanded its collaboration with Red Hat to offer Contrail Cloud. The release of Contrail Cloud offers service providers an opportunity to deliver solutions from Juniper on a proven and trusted platform supported by Red Hat.
