Two days are on the books, just one day left of Red Hat Summit 2019. We’re a bit sad, too, but don’t despair - there’s plenty left to do, see, and learn on Thursday. To cap it all off, we’re looking forward to Thursday night’s Red Hat Summit Party featuring Neon Trees and Fitz & the Tantrums. Let’s see what else is going on Thursday.

Schedule at a Glance

Registration for Red Hat Summit is open at 7 a.m. on Thursday morning at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) at 7 a.m. Breakfast is also served at 7 a.m. to 8:15 a.m., the beginning of our last Red Hat Summit 2019 general session.

Mealtimes and general session times are listed in this table, for specific times of labs, breakouts and other sessions, see the session catalog.

Day three schedule table

General session

We won’t say we saved the best for last, because - frankly - all of our general sessions are chock full of goodness. However, we are bringing out some very interesting speakers Thursday. Red Hat’s Marco Bill-Peter, senior vice president, Customer Experience and Engagement (CEE) and Chris Wright, vice president and chief technology officer will be on stage and you’ll also hear from leaders from Boston Children’s Hospital, BMW Group, Emirates NBD, H20, HCA Healthcare, Hilti Corp, Optus, PerceptiLabs, ProphetStor Data Services, Inc., UPS and more!

Expo Hall

On the final day of Red Hat Summit 2019 the Expo Hall opens at 10 a.m. and the Ecosystem Expo ends at 3 p.m. You’ll want to take at least one more lap around the expo floor to meet with exhibitors and learn about all the technology on display.

The Customer Success Zone is located at booth #445, stop by to chat with our services and support folks and find out about our consulting, training, certification, technical support, and more. Make sure you stop by the Red Hat Booth (#649), to discuss business challenges and get your questions answered at the “Ask Me Anything” space.

Don’t miss the chance to run by Community Central. Find some of the upstream projects that are used in Red Hat’s products at booth #134, and learn how you might contribute. Projects appearing at Community Central include Fedora, CentOS, RDO, oVirt, Ansible, OKD, and a number of emerging communities.

Developers will want to make a beeline for our DevZone in the Expo Hall, located at Booth #124. Watch technical demos, ask questions, and find spaces dedicated to Red Hat CodeReady, Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Red Hat Middleware, and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Puppy pen - Expand your PAWsabilities

One more chance to pet the doggos. Great Dog Rescue New England is bringing a little fuzzy fun to Red Hat Summit this year. The rescue will be at Summit from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Expo Hall across from Demo Village, and you can stop by and pet the pups for a little mid-day relaxation. If you meet the dog of your dreams, the canine companions are adoptable.

Red Hat Summit Party

What better way to wrap up the event than by attending the annual Red Hat Summit party with our two bands, Fitz and the Tantrums and Neon Trees! Join your friends and colleagues for food, drinks, and two stellar performances at Rockland Trust Bank Pavilion. The party runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
