Red Hat rang in the New Year and we’re hitting the ground running in 2009. From virtual tradeshows and partner events to Red Hat Summit and JBoss World 2009, we’re excited about what this year has in store for Red Hat on the events front. Below is a glimpse into where Red Hat will be this January as well as a few “save the dates” for early spring.

North America
The Fedora Project will host its Fedora User and Developer Conference (FUDCon) January 9-11 in Boston. The three-day conference will bring together members of the community and serve as a kick off for the development of Fedora 11. The agenda includes hackfests the first two days, and a BarCamp on the third day.

Swing by the Red Hat booth at Lotusphere 2009 in Orlando on January 18-22. We’ll be at booth #403, where we’ll be demoing Lotus Domino & Lotus OCCS on Red Hat Enterprise Linux server and desktop solutions.

APAC
Red Hat is a sponsor of linux.conf.au on January 19-24 in Hobart, Tasmania. Now in its tenth year, linux.conf.au has grown to become one of the world’s best technical Linux conferences. It continues to be run by community volunteers for community members who have made Linux and free and open source software the phenomenon it is today.

At the Identity Management and Information Security Forum on February 26-27 in Sydney, Australia, Red Hat will be presenting as well as exhibiting. The conference will provide delegates with the most updated information on how to deal with the challenges caused by identity related fraud and how to implement comprehensive identity management systems to reduce risks and costs.
