  • Every Partner Conference sees the return of Free Training Certifications and this year is no exception. There are three free exams available which will run over 5 sessions over the course of the conference and with a limited capacity of 20 candidates per exam. The following free exams will be on offer (pre-requisites may apply):

    • EX283 - Red Hat Certified Enterprise Microservices Developer Exam
    • EX200 - Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) Exam
    • EX294 - Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) Exam
    This year we have introduced a pre-exam assessment to ensure the highest chance of passing the exam. In order to be eligible for a place on a free exam, the following criteria must be fulfilled:

     

    • To enroll your Partner Conference 2019 registration ID is required.
    • All candidates applying for a free exam will be required to complete and successfully pass a pre-exam assessment.
    • Only one exam per person will be allocated. Not applicable from 5th June onwards.
    • Only one exam per company will be allocated. Not applicable from 5th June onwards.
    • If the 20 attendee limit is exceeded, any additional registrants will be put on a waiting list and notified if a space becomes available.

    Please note that only Partner Conference registered attendees will be allowed to take the pre-exam assessment and ultimately be eligible for a free exam.

    This year’s EMEA Partner Conference is more exciting than ever! The following activities are open to all registered delegates but be quick, you may need to register for some and places are limited.

    “Robot Car” Hackathon

    The Robot Car Hackathon is an amazing learning experience for developers and non-developers to develop not too complex code in a team to guide a robot car through a labyrinth. Leverage, OpenShift, 3Scale, Eclipse Che and more Red Hat technology. Each group will comprise of four people per car. A maximum of 15 groups will have the opportunity to take part.

    All Around Open Innovation - An Innovation Labs Experience for Red Hat Partners

    A dedicated four hour slot where you can experience at first-hand how Red Hat helps partners to drive business transformation projects for their customers. Learn more about how you can leverage open innovation lab practices when planning for conferences and agenda setting.

    Are you looking to connect with experts, peers or network during the conference? The Partner Meeting Wall is a special meeting area to enable you to congregate, meet with, search for and directly set up meetings with like-minded delegates or potential business partners. To participate, you will need to complete a “partner profile” on what you offer and the type of partner you are interested in engaging with at the conference. This includes the indirect go-to-market strategy and execution with distributors, solution providers, GAPs, CCSP's (Certified Cloud Solution Provider) and associated programs. With over 20 years experience in partner management and business development, Petra Heinrich is a champion for open source collaboration to deliver innovative solutions for today's business challenges leveraging Red Hat's business partner network and global alliances. Previous stations in her career included Lotus, IBM, Suse and Novell.

    Werner Knoblich is responsible for developing and executing Red Hat’s business strategy across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). His primary focus is on sales, marketing, and services. Since joining Red Hat in 2003, Werner has led the EMEA region to consistently exceed financial targets and deliver innovative solutions to overcome customer business challenges in both established and emerging markets.
    Prior to joining Red Hat, Werner spent more than 6 years working in the IT asset management sector for MainControl and MRO in the United States. Werner began his sales career working for USU Softwarehaus in Germany.

    A 20-year tech industry veteran, Margaret is a frequent author and speaker on cloud computing, big data, open source, women in tech, and the intersection of business and technology. Currently, Margaret leads global product marketing at Red Hat, the world's leading open source software company.
    Prior to Red Hat, she was Vice President of Product Marketing and Cloud Evangelist for the cloud computing division of Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. Margaret has worked and traveled extensively in Asia, Europe, and North America. She was a foreign correspondent for BusinessWeek magazine, and spent ten years in the Greater China region, consulting with many technology companies and governmental agencies.

    Executive Vice President Global Sales and Services, Red Hat

    Arun Oberoi leads Red Hat's Global Sales and Services organization, including Red Hat's commercial and public sector sales, channel, and alliance sales, as well as Red Hat's consulting services. He joined Red Hat in May 2012. 
    Before joining Red Hat, Oberoi led and repeatedly built rapidly scaling businesses for multiple technology organizations, from start-up companies to midsized and multibillion-dollar global organizations. Most recently, Oberoi served as CEO of 2 high-growth start-up technology companies: Viridity Software, a datacenter infrastructure management company, and Aveksa, a leading access governance and management software company.
    Oberoi has led worldwide sales on multiple occasions during his career, including at Micromuse, a market-leading provider of high-end network management and service assurance solutions. After Micromuse was acquired by IBM, he led worldwide sales for the Netcool-Tivolis Software Group at IBM.
    Earlier in his career, Oberoi held several executive leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard, including vice president and general manager of worldwide top 100 corporate accounts and industries, and vice president and general manager of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for HP's software business. As part of HP's software business, Oberoi led the development of a dedicated worldwide sales and marketing organization for the portfolio, which included HP's OpenView product, security, and middleware, and led the sales growth from initial stages to $1 billion in revenues.
