We’re also adding Windows support in OpenShift, OpenShift Dedicated on Azure and SQL Server support in OpenShift and Red Hat Linux to our joint roadmap, and extending the integrated, co-located support that has been a signature of our partnership.
With Azure, Microsoft offers a comprehensive set of cloud services that developers and IT professionals use to build, deploy, and manage applications through our global network of datacenters. Title: Taking one step at the time
Abstract: (IT) organisations face a lot of innovations that they feel they need to adopt to address business goals. DevOps, Big Data, Microservices, Containers, CI/CD, self service IT, (Public) Cloud are the new gems. That same IT organisation is in a lot of cases left with an old fashioned and siloed IT landscape that is not easy to change. On top of that, budgets are spend in “Run & Operate” rather than “Innovation” and IT staff have too little experience in these modern IT paradigms. In this track Red Hat shows that not every organisation needs to leapfrog to adopt these technologies. It can also be done in a more set-by-step approach.

Title: Building an Open Hybrid Cloud with Red Hat and Azure
Abstract: Business units and developers are leveraging cloud to drive business innovation and agility. And they are seeing great results, however it is still challenging for enterprises to build hybrid cloud architectures that allow them to become more agile and competitive. In this session, you will learn the benefits of combining Red Hat and Microsoft Azure services to build an open hybrid cloud. We will start by introducing what the partnership between Microsoft and Red Hat means for enterprises and why this is one of the most valued partnerships in the market. We’ll then discuss reference architectures and demonstrate how you can deploy a microservices web application in a hybrid environment. Finally we’ll introduce and demonstrate the new (and unique in the market) Managed OpenShift on Azure offer and how it can be a game changer for enterprises.
