HYBRID CLOUD ON GOOGLE: Develop, deploy, and manage apps securely

Stop by booth W2319 to learn how Google and Red Hat together can help you safely scale and innovate by bringing your data and workloads to the Google Cloud Platform and integrate it with on-premise infrastructure for seamless workload portability.

DEMOS

LEARN MORE ABOUT OUR SOLUTIONS

Stop by booth W2319 to talk to the open source experts and view demos on the latest Red Hat technologies. We will be showcasing:

Ansible®: Automate and manage clouds

Automation is critical to managing, changing, and adapting your IT infrastructure and business processes. Come by and watch a demo to see how to gain time and energy to focus on innovation by simplifying change through automation. The automated enterprise's goal is to get work done faster to free up IT staff to focus on bigger issues, resolving them, and—in turn—making them routine and eligible for automation.

Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform: Consistent container deployment across clouds

Public cloud enables agility; however, over the years most organizations have invested in their on-premise infrastructure with virtualization and Red Hat OpenStack® Platform. OpenShift Container Platform allows teams to create automated build and deployment processes that span across the entire infrastructure being on-premise or on multiple public clouds.

Come by and check out our demo to see a Spring Boot application across its life cycle being developed, tested, and staged on OpenShift Container Platform running on Red Hat OpenStack Platform. After succeeding all tests, the application is then released and deployed to the production environment via a zero-downtime canary release on OpenShift Container Platform running on Google Cloud.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux®: Secure and reliable platform across clouds

Red Hat customers want choice and flexibility regarding where to run workloads that are essential for business.  They also expect a secure, reliable, and consistent experience across public clouds.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux is the world’s most trusted enterprise Linux platform and it is available in all the major public clouds including Google Cloud Platform (GCP).  Stop by our booth (#2319) to see how easy it is to start using Red Hat Enterprise Linux in the Google Cloud today.

Training and Certification: Ensuring success with Red Hat cloud technologies

A growing technology market demands new skills and knowledge, especially with open source technologies. Solve today's business challenges and prepare for tomorrow with unlimited access to the definitive online training. Come by our booth (W2319) to get a demonstration of Red Hat Learning Subscription, which gives you continuous online training across the Red Hat product portfolio. Learn how one annual subscription can help you get trained and certified with Red Hat technologies.

Cloud Pod Talk

Connecting developers to services with the Open Service Broker API Tuesday, July 24th; 2:00 p.m., West Hall

Jeff Ekstrom

Red Hat

Jeff Ekstrom

Technical Evangelist, Cloud, Red Hat

Tuesday, July 24th; 2:00pm, West Hall

In this session, we will explore the capabilities that are unleashed by the Open Service Broker API integration with Kubernetes as found in Red Hat® OpenShift® Container Platform. First, we will discuss the flexibility afforded to developers in this project. Developers can build powerful solution stacks and solve complex problems due to the combination of OpenShift Container Platform services including runtimes, databases, and middleware with Google Cloud Services. Second, we will discuss the impact of the Open Service Broker API on hybrid cloud architectures. The ability to invoke Google Cloud Services from a private cloud will have a powerful impact on where data and workloads are located within a hybrid architecture.
