Innovate participation provides access to our flagship Red Hat^® Enterprise Linux^® and its Add-Ons, Red Hat JBoss^® Enterprise Application Platform, and the revolutionary Red Hat OpenShift, our Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).

No, Red Hat Innovate is open to all startups globally that meet the criteria for the program and for the cohort they are applying for. The first Red Hat Innovate cohort consisted of exclusively Israel-based startups. Israel is one of the most entrepreneurial cultures in the world based on startups per capita, which provided an excellent base on which to build the program.

The Red Hat Innovate team reviews your application and contacts you to gather additional information. If approved, you'll receive an email with instructions for logging in to Red Hat's Partner Portal and with additional onboarding procedures.

We'll ask you to agree to Red Hat's standard partner agreement.

If your startup participated in the Israel cohort, you'll graduate from the program. If your startup is one of the new cohorts, you'll continue with the program until the cohort ends. Each cohort runs from roughly 6 to 9 months.

You're free to continue running the Red Hat software you received while participating in the Innovate program. But, of course, without a subscription you'll no longer be entitled to the latest software updates, bug fixes, security updates, or Red Hat's award-winning technical support.
