In this course, attendees will learn the essential skills required for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7. This course is designed for system administrators who have expertise with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 or earlier. This course will teach attendees to deploy applications in containers using Docker and Kubernetes. Attendees will learn how to: design containers for the deployment of an existing application across multiple containers, build and test those containers using Docker, and deploy the application in a Kubernetes cluster to achieve high availability and load balancing. This hands-on course will take a monolithic application and break it down into distinct services, illustrating how containers are an excellent vehicle for microservices architecture deployment. Ansible can be used to configure and manage systems locally, in a cloud environment, or in a DevOps environment. This course will provide an introduction to Ansible, and will teach applicants to write Ansible code to manage and configure systems.
This lab-based course will explore the concepts and methods necessary to use Puppet with Red Hat Satellite, such as Puppet language constructs, building Puppet modules with classes, and using Puppet resources. Once a Puppet module is available, the course will guide applicants through the process of deploying the Puppet module in a Red Hat Satellite environment. Topics discussed in this course include:

This includes deploying the Ceph storage cluster (based on RADOS), the Ceph object gateway (based on RADOSGW), and the Ceph block device (based on RADOS block device, or RBD).
