Red Sox game

This year's Red Hat Summit party attendees saw the Red Sox play at Fenway Park on Wednesday, May 3. Attendees picked up tickets at the Partner Pavilion from 5:15 - 7:30 p.m., hopped on one of our busses starting at 6:00 p.m., and watched the first pitch at 7:10 p.m.

5K run

The Red Hat Summit 2017 5K fun run benefited Sociedad Latina, an organization that supports the needs of youth and their families in the local Boston area. Even though the run is over, we’ll continue to accept donations on behalf of Sociedad Latina.

Red Hat Women’s Leadership Community Luncheon

This year’s luncheon celebrated the contributions women make in IT and open source. Hosted by Red Hat Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer DeLisa Alexander, the event featured Julia White—Microsoft’s corporate vice president, Azure and security marketing.

Structured like a hackfest, this year’s CodeStarter events featured IoT and API challenges during an evening of food and drinks.

Open Source Stories premiere

How do you teach a car to drive? In our new film, Road to A.I., we interview carmakers and AI experts about data, decisions, and the future of the self-driving car industry. Around 200 attendees joined us for the world premiere—where they enjoyed food and drinks and participated in a discussion about AI and autonomous vehicles with several of the experts featured in the film.
