Hotel information
We've partnered with hotels near the Moscone Center to reserve blocks of rooms for Red Hat Summit attendees at discounted rates. On the hotel booking page of your Red Hat Summit registration there’s an option to select from these participating hotels, including various group rates and dates. If these reserved rooms—and the Red Hat Summit discounts—are no longer available, please call the hotels directly to inquire about vacancies and nightly rates.
If you’re unable to secure a partnering hotel during your Red Hat Summit registration, that means it’s currently sold out of rooms at our group rate. You can either select a different partnering hotel from the available options, contact us to see about the group rate availabilities.
A credit card is required at time of booking to guarantee your hotel room reservation but will not be automatically applied when you check-in. When checking in, please present a credit card and photo ID to the receptionist.
Each hotel has different policies on placing holds on credit cards. Please contact the hotel directly to inquire about their credit card policies. If someone else needs to supply a credit card ahead of time, please contact the hotel directly for an authorization form that can be presented to the hotel by fax or during check in.
To view, edit, or cancel your hotel reservation, follow the instructions below:
- Login to the registration portal using your custom username and password or approved social media account (LinkedIn or Google+).

If you make changes to your reservation and would like an updated confirmation, visit returning services using the instructions above and select the option to view a printer-friendly hotel confirmation. You may also contact the housing team for assistance at rh-summit@itagroup.com.
Of course. You may call the hotel directly and ask for the Red Hat Summit rate. However, it’s at the hotel’s discretion to honor the group rate by phone, so we suggest booking through the Red Hat Summit registration website.
April 13, 2018 is the last day you can receive the discounted hotel group rate. After April 13, honoring the Red Hat Summit discount hotel rates is at the hotel’s discretion. If you have any more questions regarding the rate, please contact the housing team at rh-summit@itagroup.com.
All hotel rooms must be cancelled 72 hours prior to 3:00 p.m PT check-in to receive no penalty. If cancelled within 72 hours of check-in date, you may incur a cancellation fee equal to 1 night’s room and tax from the hotel. If you reserved your hotel as part of your Red Hat Summit registration and cancel your event registration by April 12, 2018, the hotel will be canceled and processed by the hotel automatically. If you have any concerns, please contact the housing team at rh-summit@itagroup.com so we can ensure your room is cancelled properly.
