6 storage guides for sysadmins
If there is one thing that I've learned over the last few years, it's that system administrators are an incredibly diverse group. You have network admins, database admins, security admins, 'jack of all trades' admins, and more. For some reason, storage and backup admins seem to get little love and attention in the public space.
As a previous storage admin, I can relate to feeling a bit left out of the conversation; for that reason, I wanted to bring you a collection of six great guides on various storage tools and concepts.
We saw some great topics in 2020 covering storage, and some of the best were centered around things like Logical Volume Manager (LVM), understanding disk space usage, and setting up Network Attached Storage (NAS) systems. I am confident that you will find practical and easy to follow tips and tricks that you can implement in your knowledge base or daily routines.
