Think back to when you were a fledgling sysadmin. You had to repeat commands, scripts, and strategies over and over before finally grasping what happened both on the screen and behind the scenes. I spent a lot of time asking questions and watching more senior techs cruise through scenarios that seemed incredibly complex to me.
