Heading into the week of KubeCon, we wanted to make sure that listeners had some basics to prepare them for a week of learning and announcements. We discussed the severe Kubernetes bug (Kubernetes Privilege Escalation Flaw) and available patches, all of the new features in Kubernetes 1.13, as some previews of things to expect from KubeCon.
Also, OpenShift Dedicated added a bunch of great new functionality, including:
- Multi-AZ Stretched Clusters
- New EC2 Instance Types
- Bring Your Own AWS Account
- Encrypted Storage Volumes
- Greater Admin Visibility
- Cost Reductions of 25-50%
The show will always be available on this blog (search: #PodCTL), as well as RSS Feeds, iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, TuneIn and all your favorite podcast players.
