With little fanfare, cloud computing has been kicked to the curb by IT leaders as the most buzzed about technology. What's hotter than cloud computing? From greater developer flexibility to bringing you closer to achieving DevOps "nirvana," Linux containers offer a host of benefits to the enterprise world...but only if IT teams have the right infrastructure, the right support and the right skills to leverage them.
Red Hat recently commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct a survey to dig a bit deeper into the mindset of IT professionals when it comes to containers, and today we’re pleased to make these results public. In short: IT professionals see a lot of benefits in containers...but a majority don’t feel like their organization is ready.
