We are thrilled to share that Red Hat has been recognized as one of the top 10 best employers in the Czech Republic, by global HR consulting and outsourcing firm Aon Hewitt. Ranked fourth in the large company category (companies with more than 250 employees), Red Hat’s placement in the independent study is based on the results of an anonymous survey of associates from its Brno, Czech Republic office. Companies were ranked against three main criteria in the tenth annual study by Aon Hewitt: feedback from employees, HR policies and opinion of the top management.

More than 12,000 employees from 50 companies across the Czech Republic completed the questionnaire, with employees of the top 10 companies showing very high engagement and satisfaction with their employment. In order to be included, employers had to excel in a number of key attributes, including engagement rate, trustworthy leadership and an attractive employer brand.

This is the third year Red Hat has been honoured in the Aon Hewitt study of top 10 best employers in the Czech Republic, and we believe theranking recognizes our commitment to Red Hat’s passionate and talented associates. We strive to give associates a rewarding work experience with ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. Red Hat is known for its unique culture and work environment, where good ideas can come from anywhere and the best ideas win. Associates work together in a challenging and engaging community, where they are encouraged to contribute to the company’s core mission.

Red Hat has approximately 7,000+ associates worldwide, with more than 80 offices in more than 35 countries. The Brno office hosts one of the company’s largest teams of engineers and is a driving force in the development of Red Hat’s open source technologies. In August 2014, Red Hat opened a third building in Brno, adding an additional 3800 square metres of space.
