Red Hat is a silver sponsor of the 2012 Gartner Application Architecture, Development & Integration Summit, taking place Nov. 27-29 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nev. Pierre Fricke, director of product marketing for SOA and integration at Red Hat, is scheduled to share his thoughts on the future of open source integration and business process management (BPM) during a session on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 12:45 p.m. in the Speaking Theater.
In his session, Fricke envisions that use cases for integration and BPM have changed. Whereas during the previous two decades focus was on integrating largely static enterprise applications and automating aspects or manual back-office business processes, enterprises are now faced with challenges associated with rapidly changing business environments, embedded devices, mobile applications, cloud deployments, and new users, to name a few of today’s obstacles.
Integrating each of these elements seamlessly and incorporating them into complex, automated business processes requires an approach that empowers both developers and business analysts to be more agile and productive. Lightweight, distributed integration infrastructure must easily work in concert with standards-based, easy-to-use BPM tools.
This session will detail Red Hat’s vision of the intelligent, integrated enterprise and how today’s JBoss Enterprise Middleware platforms provide a foundation and path to the integration technology of the future. Curious how you can become an intelligent, integrated enterprise? Join us during this session or stop by booth S14 for more information.
