He is also a member of the Red Hat AI ILT, and participates in the ETSI ENI working group, to establish standards for the use of AI/ML in mobile network operations. He was the former Director of Product Management at Affirmed Networks, where he led their efforts in virtualization, management tools (ASAP) and security planning. Prior to this, he worked at VMware with Sanjay Aiyagari, where they conducted pioneering research with technology partners in the use of virtualization for network functions. They eventually disrupted the networking industry by delivering the first production NFV deployment at a multinational mobile operator, effectively kickstarting a new multi-billion dollar market. He lives in San Francisco with his wife Dahlia, son Nico, and an oversized French Bulldog named Sophie.

François is part of the Red Hat’s Telco Technology Office (TTO) and collaborates with telecom service providers and partners across EMEA. Passionate about security, François leads the NFV security domain in TTO and is the Red Hat’s technical interface to the National Cybersecurity Agency of France (ANSSI) and the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). He contributed to the "OpenShift Security Guide" book. Before Red Hat, he spent more than 15 years contributing to network evolution especially towards cloud platforms.

Ben Panic is Senior Director of Sales for the telecommunications vertical for Red Hat Asia Pacific. He has led the vertical in Red Hat for the past 3 years and has over 24 years of experience working in operators and vendors throughout the region. Passionate about technology and its impact on the world, Ben has most recently focused on the adoption of open source technology and value creation for customers through innovation from the community. Ben expands Red Hat’s business in the region through direct and indirect channels and partners. Prior to joining Red Hat, Ben held sales leadership roles for Alcatel-Lucent, Netcracker Technologies, Spike Networks, Telstra and Macquarie Telecommunications. He moved to Singapore in 2010 with Alcatel-Lucent Bell Labs Ventures to lead the commercialisation of new ventures in the region, and spent seven years leading the sales effort in NFV for both Alcatel-Lucent and Netcracker. Ben has studied at Insead (senior management program), The University of Technology Sydney (BEng) and holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering. He also graduated with GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Honoré LaBourdette recently joined Red Hat as Vice President, Telco, Media and Entertainment, with a focus on Industry Verticals & Edge. In this role, she has global responsibility for helping ensure that service providers, ecosystem partners and key vertical enterprise 5G networks can rapidly deploy cloud native applications at scale leveraging Red Hat’s open, hybrid cloud technologies, 5G, OSS/BSS, Cloud RAN and more. Prior to Red Hat, Honoré was Vice President, Global Market & Business Development for VMware’s Telco and Edge Cloud Business unit. In this role, she was tasked to build and lead VMware’s Telco vertical GTM strategy and execution including the ecosystem of partners that serve this market. Honoré is a seasoned technology executive having held senior positions in sales, business development, marketing, strategy and operations in both software and hardware companies including Cisco/NetSolve, Nortel, N.E.T. and AT&T with a particular focus on transformational vertical industries and initiatives. Throughout her career, Honoré has received numerous industry awards, including Global Business Telecom magazine’s Top 50 Women in Telecom to watch. She is a strong advocate for women in technology – for which she received the PBWC (Professional Business Women of California) Industry Leader Award. Honoré resides in Colorado with her husband, two dogs, four horses and a small herd of Texas Longhorns. She is an avid skier and working volunteer for the Steamboat STARS program – which provides therapeutic activities for individuals with special needs, in a natural and healthy environment.

Michael Tadault is Chief Technologist Telco in Red Hat’s APAC Office of Technology. He helps telco service providers become more agile, innovative and efficient by adopting technologies like cloud native development, containers, virtualization and the open hybrid cloud, as well as changing their processes and culture to make the best use of these technologies. Before joining Red Hat Michael spent more than 20 years in the telco industry holding key positions in project management, product management, system integration, presales, and solution architecture across numerous technical domains like fixed/mobile access, transport, core, and OSS/BSS. While working for Alcatel-Lucent he joined the internal startup that pioneered the telco cloud which eventually became known as Network Function Virtualization (NFV). He contributed to the adoption of telco cloud by several leading service providers. Prior to joining Red Hat, Michael worked for Netcracker, a leading OSS/BSS provider, where he focused on NFV, end-to-end orchestration, and digital transformation. Michael holds Masters of Engineering degrees from École Polytechnique and Télécom Paris.
