Senior Vice President & General Manager, APAC
Dirk-Peter van Leeuwen is Red Hat's senior vice president and general manager for Asia Pacific region. He is responsible for expanding Red Hat's presence and oversees all sales, marketing, and services throughout the region. Dirk-Peter first joined Red Hat in 2004 with the remit of establishing Red Hat's operations in Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg (Benelux). By 2008, Dirk-Peter's portfolio included the Central and Eastern European (CEE) market operations and he was promoted to Vice President for CEE, responsible for sales and general management of Red Hat's business in the region. Under Dirk-Peter's leadership, the Central, Eastern European, and Benelux region became Red Hat's fastest growing territory in 2008 that saw a 15 percent increase of its customer base.
Head of APAC Office of Technology
Frank brings in more than two decades of experience in the field of open source. Under his leadership the APAC Technology office addresses APAC business requirements and strives to better align our technology agenda and message across the BU's, sales and customer landscape.
Prior to this role, Frank was also the Senior Director, Strategic Business Development, where he was responsible for the growth of all Red Hat non-RHEL (Linux) products and solution offerings in Asia Pacific.
Frank has held other successful leadership roles in Red Hat since 2008, ranging from marketing, strategic sales, field enablement to product management.
Prior to Red Hat, Frank worked at Novell Asia Pacific in the role of Technical Alliance Manager. He was responsible for technical relationships with IBM, Hewlett Packard and Dell. Prior to relocating to Asia, Frank co-owned and managed a Java services company in the Netherlands specializing in JBoss Middleware technology.
Frank has a business degree in computer science and economics and has been instrumental in many product and technology shaping activities throughout his career.

Josep Garcia is a professional with over 20 years of IT industry experience in a very eclectic number of positions, ranging from analyst/programmer and IT consultant to sales and marketing roles.At Red Hat since 2005, he is currently the Vice President, Partners & Alliances for the Asia Pacific region. Josep's main goal at Red Hat is to build a first class partner ecosystem that can take Red Hat's leading position in the open source IT infrastructure market to customers across all industries and segments.Before taking this position, Josep managed Dell's partnership with Red Hat where he helped drive higher attach rates for Red Hat products to Dell customers across the region.Josep has spent the last 15 years in Asia Pacific, living in Hong Kong, Sydney and Singapore and traveling extensively across the region meeting customers and partners.Prior to Red Hat he worked for Oracle, IBM and Lotus Development in several sales and marketing management roles.Josep holds a Masters of Science (MSC) in Computer Science from the Technology University of Barcelona, in his native Spain.
Vice President, Enterprise Sales and Global System Integrators, APAC
Phil has been with Red Hat for over ten years and is responsible for leading the Enterprise Sales team and the Emerging Products Business Development team in Red Hat Asia Pacific, a division of Red Hat Inc. the global leader in open source software.
Phil manages the engagement with enterprise customers and the emerging technologies sales and support capabilities across the Asia Pacific region.
Before moving to Asia Pacific, Phil led the Northern and Eastern European Sales, Services and Marketing organisation with responsibility for Red Hat’s EMEA business covering UK and Ireland, the Nordic Countries, European Eastern Europe and Russia CIS.
Prior to Red Hat, Phil was the Director for development and implementation of Cisco’s Data Centre Business for European Markets focused on Cisco’s technology offerings supporting the end-to-end Data Centre connectivity and advanced application delivery for next generation datacentres.
Before Cisco, Phil held vice president EMEA positions in network management technology companies such as System Management Arts and Aprisma. He was also the Vice President of global channel sales for Sterling Software’s application development business across the world.
Phil’s career has also included national and international management positions in Autodesk and Schlumberger in Europe and in Asia Pacific.

Sajeeve Bahl is the Vice President and Head of Asia Pacific Services in Red Hat. Since June 2015, he has led and grown the Red Hat Services (Consulting and Training) team across Asia Pacific to a powerhouse of over 300 employees that manages projects worth over $80M. Sajeeve is also responsible in ensuring that Red Hat consultants and project managers across Asia Pacific drive sales and deliver long-term customer success.
With over 32 years of experience in the IT industry and accolades such as the 2018 Red Hat President’s Club Award and multiple Global Region of the Year under his belt, Sajeeve is setting his sights high for the future. A believer that “nothing is impossible if you can envisage success”, Sajeeve is building an industrial strength team in Enterprise Services across Asia Pacific — part of the strategy in his vision of creating an agile environment that's adaptive to the ever-evolving market.
Prior to joining Red Hat, Sajeeve held various leadership roles at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Oracle, Baan, and HP in EMEA, Asia Pacific and the US.

James "Jim" Whitehurst is president and CEO of Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of open source enterprise IT products and services. Whitehurst is an avid advocate for open software as a catalyst for business innovation. With a background in business development, finance, and global operations, Whitehurst has proven expertise in helping companies flourish—even in the most challenging economic and business environments. Since joining in January, 2008, he has more than doubled the company’s revenue. Under his leadership, Red Hat was named to Forbes’ list of “The World’s Most Innovative Companies” in 2015, 2014, and 2012; added to Standard and Poor’s (S&P) 500 stock index in 2009; and named one of the best places to work by Glassdoor in 2014.
In June 2015, Whitehurst published a book with Harvard Business Review Press entitled "The Open Organization: Igniting Passion and Performance" showing how open principles of management—based on transparency, participation, and community—can help organizations navigate and succeed in a fast-paced connected era.
Prior to Red Hat, Whitehurst spent six-years at Delta Air Lines where he oversaw all aspects of airline operations and drove significant international expansion as chief operating officer. Before Delta, Jim held several corporate development leadership roles at The Boston Consulting Group, working in the Chicago, Hong Kong, and Shanghai offices, and as a partner in the Atlanta office with numerous clients across a wide range of industries.
Executive Vice President, Global Sales & Services
Arun Oberoi leads Red Hat's Global Sales and Services organization, including Red Hat's commercial and public sector sales, channel, and alliance sales, as well as Red Hat's consulting services. He joined Red Hat in May 2012.
Before joining Red Hat, Oberoi led and repeatedly built rapidly scaling businesses for multiple technology organizations, from start-up companies to midsized and multibillion-dollar global organizations. Most recently, Oberoi served as CEO of 2 high-growth start-up technology companies: Viridity Software, a datacenter infrastructure management company, and Aveksa, a leading access governance and management software company.
Oberoi has led worldwide sales on multiple occasions during his career, including at Micromuse, a market-leading provider of high-end network management and service assurance solutions. After Micromuse was acquired by IBM, he led worldwide sales for the Netcool-Tivolis Software Group at IBM.
Earlier in his career, Oberoi held several executive leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard, including vice president and general manager of worldwide top 100 corporate accounts and industries, and vice president and general manager of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for HP's software business. As part of HP's software business, Oberoi led the development of a dedicated worldwide sales and marketing organization for the portfolio, which included HP's OpenView product, security, and middleware, and led the sales growth from initial stages to $1 billion in revenues.
Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer
DeLisa Alexander serves as the executive vice president and chief people officer of Red Hat, leading the organization responsible for global human resources including Red Hat University. The organization's mission is to be a strategic partner to the business in acquiring, developing, and retaining talent and to enhance the Red Hat culture and talent brand. During Alexander's tenure, Red Hat has grown from 1,100 to 11,000+ associates and has been recognized as one of the best places to work in multiple publications around the globe.
The founder of the Women's Leadership Community at Red Hat, Alexander received a 2015 Stevie Silver Women in Business award in recognition of her leadership in advancing opportunities for women in technology. She serves on the executive committee for the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED); the board of directors for Raleigh Chamber of Commerce and Innovate Raleigh; and the board of advisers for the Frank Hawkins Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise, Bull City Ventures, NC State University Poole College of Management, and SoarTriangle.
Alexander joined Red Hat in 2001 and served in the office of general counsel until mid 2006, most recently as assistant general counsel and assistant secretary. During this time, Alexander was responsible for equity and executive compensation, and trademark, copyright, and employment matters. Alexander also advised the company's management and board of directors on securities and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Red Hat, Alexander was associated with the law firm Kilpatrick Stockton where she focused on mergers, acquisitions, venture capital, and intellectual property licensing. She started her career as a judicial clerk for the Honorable William B. Chandler, chancellor of the renowned Delaware Court of Chancery.

Paul Cormier leads Red Hat's technology and products organizations, including engineering, product management, and product marketing for Red Hat's technologies. He joined Red Hat in May 2001 as executive vice president, Engineering.
Cormier's leadership and experience in enterprise technology has led to the introduction of Red Hat's acclaimed line of enterprise products, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux®. He has been instrumental in forging tight partnerships with many leading technology companies. Before Red Hat, Cormier served as senior vice president of research and development at BindView, helping the company achieve market leadership in 2000.
Executive Vice President, Corporate Marketing
Tim Yeaton brings more than 35 years of software and technology management and marketing experience to Red Hat. More recently, Yeaton was CEO at Black Duck Software. Under his leadership, the company experienced more than 30% annualized year-over-year growth, completed 3 major acquisitions, created a joint venture in greater China, and built a worldwide operation with presence in 23 countries. Before joining Black Duck, Yeaton was Chief Marketing Officer for Equallogic, prior to its acquisition by Dell.Previously, Yeaton spent several years at Red Hat as senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing and general manager of Enterprise Solutions. During his first tenure at Red Hat, Yeaton was instrumental in expanding the company’s business into the developer and middleware markets with acquisitions of JBoss and MetaMatrix, and built go-to-market partnerships with companies including IBM, HP, Dell, Oracle, and several others. In 2009 Yeaton was named one of the Most Influential People in the Open Source Software Industry, in a survey by Mindtouch. In 2010 he was named a COPU Think Tank Advisor, which recognizes the key global thought leaders in open source software. Also in 2010, the Mass. Technology Leadership Council named Yeaton a finalist for CEO of the Year.

Please use the taxi service at the airport and request a receipt for reimbursement purpose. Team members should co-share a taxi to the hotel.
Accommodation will be provided by Red Hat to non-Singapore based associates, from Monday, March 9, 2020 to Wednesday, March 11, 2020 (3 nights only). If you arrive or depart outside of these dates for approved meetings, please submit your hotel reimbursement through the expense claims process using the “APAC SKO Travel” template.
Your credit card will be required upon check-in.
All incidental charges such as laundry, mini bar etc. will be billed to your personal credit card. These charges are not reimbursable.
Non-sales, non-Singapore based associates will need to self pay their entire period of accommodation, and submit for reimbursement post event.

Red Hat expects all associates to participate fully for the duration of the conference. This includes the evening events for associates to recognize the achievements of peers and build bonds between teams. Your participation will be tracked and reported. Only Red Hat associates will be admitted to all conference and social activities.
Therefore, associates are strongly discouraged from bringing their spouse or family during the period of the conference.
Meals will be provided at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre during the conference days as follows:
- Breakfast on March 10-12
- Conference lunch and coffee breaks from March 10-12
- Regional dinners on March 10 evening
- APAC Gala Party on March 11 evening
Associates will not be reimbursed for meal claims during this period. Associates with special dietary requirements should highlight this in the registration form.
