Abstract: The GNU Compiler Collection(GCC) and the GNU C Library(GLIBC) are a foundational part of many Open Source distribution build environments. In this session, we’ll take a look at how GCC and GLIBC have evolved over the years to enhance the security of Linux distributions as well as applications that are built and deployed on them. We’ll also review current developments and talk about the future of security in Open Source toolchains.
