Howdy Ya'll,

In lieu of recent discussions, and as we approach our first community release, I decided to do some research and reading and put together the start of a plan for updating our Community presence.  The major areas of focus are:

Updated Community Site wtih a focus on Community elements
Addition of a Project Blog
Social and Video Media Presence
Documentation Updates


Since this is about the community, and we are the community, your input is needed to ensure I have not fallen off the wagon and to fill the gaps!  The whole of the document is a bit large for email, and can thus be found on the following public Etherpad:

Discussion is encouraged inline within the Etherpad in a manner that is easy to decipher or within the context of this email chain.  As new ideas and information accumulate, the Etherpad will be updated appropriately.  Lastly, if anyone would like to take ownership of any particular area, speak up!
