The Red Hat Live Access Lab environment provides participants with the opportunity to conduct self-paced lab learning in the same environment as students have in the RHCE track courses. In addition to their machine (XWindows-based console access included), the participants have access to a server, which provides network infrastructure services as well as a yum repository with the RHEL5 distribution and the troubleshooting software from the RHCE track courses. Participants will have full console access to a self-paced study lab environment. It provides an ideal place to re-work lab exercises from Red Hat training, or to experiment with advanced configuration of the machine or its services.
Participants should have experience working with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Note: it will be useful, although not essential to have taken RH033, RH131, RH133, RH253, or RH253 classroom courses so that the participant can refer to their course book for suggested lab exercises.
People who wish to work in an environment identical to what is provided to participants in Red Hat instructor led training courses.
Red Hat Live Access Labs are available for purchase immediately. The cost is $249 per week.
