The Red Hat Enterprise Linux Update Course is designed for Linux system administrators with RHCT or RHCE certification, or equivalent skills, who possess Red Hat Enterprise Linux version 3 or version 4 experience. The course brings individuals up to speed on the latest technologies inherent to Red Hat Enterprise Linux, version 5.
Special Feature: online Red Hat Enterprise Linux labs! This course includes an online lab feature to give course participants an opportunity to apply their knowledge and practice what they've learned in a live environment.
Prerequisites:
The RHUP305 course is suitable for holders of RHCT and RHCE certificates (or those with equivalent knowledge and experience), as well as developers and those with upper level Certificates of Expertise. In addition, customers should have broad experience with Red Hat enterprise Linux version 3 and/or 4.
What You Will Learn:
The course will teach participants some of the new features of Red Hat Enterprise Linux, version 5, aimed at Linux system administrators familiar with versions 3 and/or 4 of Enterprise Linux. Although the course will focus on material new from version 4 to version 5, some version 3 to version 5 material is included as well.
Course Access:
Each series participant has access to the series for a period of 6 months from the day of enrollment in the series.
