When you generated the certificate, it is the 'Server Host Name' in question (which is actually the Common Name field of the cert). Make sure you put the exact server name as it will show in the URL or you will get this error. Also once you've sorted out this problem, you'll start to see the message 'my.domain.com/' is a site that uses encryption to protect transmitted information. However, Netscape does not recognize the authority who signed its certificate. To fix this, you'll need to get a 'trusted' certificate from someone like Thawte or Verisign.
