Cormier helped pioneer a commercial business model for open source software, moving open source innovation from passionate communities to broad adoption, from the datacenter to the cloud. He led efforts to introduce an enterprise subscription model, leading to the development of Red Hat® Enterprise Linux.®

Cormier also led the vision for one open hybrid cloud platform that could span traditional, on-premise hardware to multiple clouds. He has been instrumental in forging strategic partnerships, enabling technologies to work across hybrid enterprise IT environments and multiple clouds.

Prior to his current role, Kalapala was managing strategy and architecture functions in the Information Technology organization. In that role, Srini led technology transformation efforts in the areas of workforce mobility, Wireline network transformation, and platform rationalization. His team also developed world class CRM platforms for technicians and call centers supporting Fios business. Forrester recognized his team as one of the top five leading architecture organizations in the world for these efforts.

Kalapala is a member of the board for the Linux Foundation for Networking and is active across other areas tied to software and networks. He is also on the board of trustees for New York Hall of Science (NYSCI).

Prior to his current role, Shenoy served as general manager of the company’s Client Computing Group. In that position, he was responsible for profit and loss, business strategy and product development across notebooks, desktops, tablets, 2 in 1 devices and home gateways. Earlier in his Intel career, Shenoy served as general manager for Intel Asia Pacific, where he led sales, marketing and overall adoption of Intel products in the region. Shenoy also previously held leadership roles in Intel’s PC and tablet business units and in the CEO’s office, including three years as chief of staff and technical assistant to former Intel president and CEO Paul Otellini.

Prior to joining the company in 2006, Enzweiler served as Vice President of Global Channel Strategy and Sales for Lenovo. He also spent 25 years with IBM in various management and executive roles, including General Manager of Europe, Middle East, and Africa; Latin America; the Personal Systems Group; and the Global Chemical and Petroleum Industry Group. There, he was responsible for IBM's total business—hardware, software, and services—in those key industries and directed resources to develop and deliver solutions to the chemical and petroleum industries' top business challenges.

Prior to Red Hat, Farrell served as General Manager of Red Hat Synergy for IBM and General Manager of IBM Cloud’s Watson & Cloud Platform organization. He also led IBM’s North America and EMEA Cloud and Software businesses.

Prior to that, he worked as a Security Researcher and Engineer at Microsoft and PwC. Golshan started his career in government conducting security and vulnerability research for the intelligence community.

Prior to Red Hat, Hall served as Group Vice President, Alliances and Channels, at Oracle Corporation where she was responsible for Oracle's cloud applications revenue growth through global systems integrators and reseller partners across North America.

Hall has more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry including extensive leadership experience in direct sales, channel sales, and business development. Prior to Oracle, she served as Corporate Vice President of Global Alliances at AMD, and previously held leadership roles as Vice President of Sales for SUSE Linux, Vice President Strategic Accounts Sales at Novell and President of Broadchoice, a SaaS start-up. Early in her career, she spent 16 years at IBM in a progression of sales and sales leadership roles including Director of Global Industrial Sector Sales for IBM's Software Group.

Prior to joining Red Hat 14 years ago, Hicks served in various roles spanning computer engineering, IT, and consulting. He has worked with Linux and open source for more than 20 years, and his breadth of experience has helped him solve customer and business problems across all areas of IT.

Knoblich joined Red Hat in May 2003 as Head of Sales for Northern Europe. In 2004, he took over responsibility for sales in EMEA and in March 2005 he was promoted to Vice President and General Manager, Red Hat EMEA. Prior to Red Hat, Knoblich spent more than 6 years in the IT Asset Management sector for MainControl and MRO in the USA. He began his sales career working for USU Softwarehaus in Germany.

Prior to Red Hat, Kunz held lead roles in software solutions development, sales, and strategic marketing at Schlumberger.

Martinez has extensive experience in risk management and continuous quality improvement of critical embedded software systems, especially applied to electric programmable medical equipment. She is ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certified by ISQi Germany, she was a member of the team of ISTQB- and ASTQB-accredited instructors. She teaches quality training and software engineering nationally and internationally. She has been a consultant on issues related to change management in complex environments, project management, and development and implementation of agile methodologies, testing, and assurance of software quality since 2005.

Most recently, Stack was Red Hat’s Senior Vice President and General Manager for North America Commercial Sales. Prior to Red Hat, he held various senior sales leadership positions at DXC Technology, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Accenture, and Fujitsu. Stack served in the U.S. Air Force and in the White House Situation Room under the Reagan and Bush administrations. He also served as the Chief of Field Operations for the U.N. in Angola and as a peace negotiator in Bosnia.

Spending more than 25 years as a software engineer, and more than 15 years as a Linux® developer, Wright has worked in Linux security, virtualization, networking, and telecommunications, as well as high-availability and distributed systems. He is passionate about open source software serving as the foundation for next-generation IT systems.

Previously, he spent several years at Red Hat as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing and General Manager of Enterprise Solutions.

In 2009, Yeaton was named one of the most influential people in the open source software industry based on a MindTouch survey. In 2010, he was named a COPU Think Tank Advisor, which recognizes key global thought leaders in open source software. That same year, he was named a CEO of the Year finalist by the Mass Technology Leadership Council.

Joining Red Hat in 2010, she catalyzed the development of new customer life-cycle management programs in Customer Experience and Engagement. In 2016, Devrouax into the Management organization and has had growing responsibilities for internal business initiatives. She now directs the comprehensive product strategy and experience for Red Hat’s subscriptions and cost management hosted services.

Elder has delivered talks from KubeCon to EclipseCon, among others, on topics ranging from his open source contributions to the Eclipse project to hybrid cloud deployment strategies and proof points. He holds numerous patents and has been honored with an IBM Corporate Award for technical achievement, has3 IBM Outstanding Technical Achievement awards, and is a co-author of Kubernetes in the Enterprise published by O’Reilly.

With more than 20 years working in both Linux and virtualization, Jerrido is very experienced in Red Hat’s systems management, configuration management, and subscription governance.

He helps customers use machine learning libraries in hybrid cloud environments and contributes to the TensorFlow Project. He is also a chair of the Systems Group in MLCommons and a Apache committer.

Nichols is a regular conference presenter and blogger. She is a co-presenter during the OpenShift Developer Experience Office Hours held weekly on openshift.tv. With a strong background in user experience and development, she works closely with Experience Architects, UX, and Engineering to promote a collaborative environment for a consistent and delightful end-to-end user experience for developers.

He focuses on growing and scaling a managed services organization to define the life cycle, monitor, and manage a fleet of OpenShift clusters across AWS, GCP and Azure on behalf of Red Hat customers. Prior to this role, Narayanan led and managed appdev and middleware teams at Red Hat.

Prior to Red Hat, Tracy spent many years in different roles putting the customer first. She has a passion for translating customer desires into enterprise solutions.

Prior to Red Hat, she held product marketing leadership roles at security firms SecureAuth and Tenable. Roper also held various roles in product marketing at Quest Software, including Director of Product Marketing for Windows Management and Migration.

Evan enjoys contributing to various open source projects, particularly within the Node.js and JavaScript ecosystem.

A Java Champion since 2005 and former President of the Atlanta Java User Group, Burr founded the DevNexus conference—now the largest Java™ event in the U.S.—with the aim of making access to the world’s leading developers affordable to the developer community. When not speaking at events, Burr is also the passionate creator and orchestrator of highly interactive live demo keynotes at Red Hat Summit, the company’s premier annual event.

Combining both technical and business expertise, Deierling has variously served as the Chief Officer of Technology, Architecture, and Marketing in these companies, leading the development of strategy and products across a broad range of disciplines including networking, security, cloud, big data, virtualization, storage, smart energy, and DNA sequencing.

Revenue for research has risen by 90% to $574 million annually. Dr. Brown is a member of the American Academy of Arts & Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, and the National Academy of Sciences. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the AAU. He is chairman of the Academic Research Council of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Singapore and also serves on the Research, Innovation and Enterprise Council, chaired by the Prime Minister of Singapore. He has served as a director of Dupont de Nemours Corporation and Corteva Agrisciences and also served on the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology for President George W. Bush. The National Academy of Engineering awarded Dr. Brown the Simon Ramo Founders Award in 2014. In that same year, he was elected as a Fellow of the National Academy of Inventors. Previously, Dr. Brown was provost at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Matt previously served as Vice President of the Amazon EC2 and Compute Services businesses for AWS for over 10 years. Matt was responsible for P&L, product management, and engineering and operations for all compute and storage services in AWS. He started at Amazon when AWS first launched in 2006 and served as one of the first product managers, helping to launch the initial set of AWS services. Prior to Amazon, he spent time in product management roles at early stage Internet startups.

Between 2004 and 2007, Elie Girard worked for the Office of the Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industry in France. He joined Orange in 2007 and was appointed Chief of Staff to the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. From 2010 to 2014, he was Senior Executive Vice-President in charge of Strategy & Development of the Orange group, member of the Group Executive Committee. In April 2014, Elie Girard joined Atos as Deputy Chief Financial Officer of Atos Group. He was appointed Group Chief Financial Officer in February 2015 and Group Senior Executive Vice President in February 2018. In March 2019, Elie was appointed Group Deputy Chief Executive Officer. He became Chief Executive Officer of Atos in November of the same year.

This spans products and services such as Microsoft Azure, the global cloud computing platform, Microsoft Business Applications, including the automated business process capabilities of Dynamics 365, low-code/no-code tools in the Power Platform, and Mixed Reality, with HoloLens and Microsoft Mesh. It also includes a rich set of developer tools with Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code and GitHub, core commerce capabilities and infrastructure, and end-to-end security, access management, and compliance solutions across the Microsoft Cloud.

Most recently, Guthrie was corporate vice president of the Microsoft Azure team. Since joining the company in 1997, he has made critical contributions to many of Microsoft’s essential cloud, server and development technologies, and was one of the founders of the .NET project.

He has also played a significant role in the development of innovative IBM products and solutions based on these emerging technologies.

Over his 30-year career at IBM, Krishna led a series of bold transformations and delivered proven business results. He most recently drove the successful $34 billion acquisition of Red Hat—the largest software acquisition—that has defined the hybrid cloud market. Together, IBM and Red Hat give clients the unique ability to build mission-critical applications once and run them anywhere.

Krishna previously was Senior Vice President of Cloud and Cognitive Software, where he pioneered the company’s hybrid cloud business, transformed IBM’s entire software and services portfolio and offerings for cloud, and grew the business. He also headed IBM Research, where he drove innovation in core and emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, quantum computing, blockchain, cloud platform services, data-driven solutions, and nanotechnology. In 2016, Wired Magazine selected him as “one of 25 geniuses who are creating the future of business” for his foundational work on blockchain.

As General Manager of IBM Systems and Technology Group’s development and manufacturing organization, Krishna led the strategy for data-centric systems and the widespread industry adoption of open and collaborative technology standards. He also grew the IBM Information Management business by 50%.

At IBM, Krishna has been an outspoken advocate for learning at every stage of one’s career. He has made scientific contributions in a number of technical fields, including wireless networking, security, systems, and databases. In addition, he founded IBM’s security software business and helped create the world’s first commercial wireless system.

She sets priorities and direction across all areas of ICT within DAFM and has a diverse background building and leading high performing teams. With extensive experience in helping implement large-scale transformational change and having cultivated more than 20 years of experience working across information and communications technology (ICT), McKeever has an in-depth understanding of business leadership and change management.

Before joining DAFM, she was Head of Software Engineering in the Department of Social Protection (DSP). She started in DSP as an Executive Officer/Junior Systems Analyst in the Information Systems Division (ISD) of DSP and progressed through various roles to become the Head of Software Engineering before moving to DAFM as CIO in January of 2021.

He oversees the digital technology strategy for the company and leads a global team responsible for defining, developing, and deploying an enterprise-grade digital platform for the transformation of the energy industry. Prior to this role, he led the overall product management for subsurface processing and interpretation digital technologies.

With his 20+ years at Schlumberger, Menon has extensive product development experience in using big data, high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to accelerate the digital transformation of customer workflows. He has also been instrumental in the development of several platform-based solutions and business models for Schlumberger.

Narain focuses on extending the company’s leadership in cloud computing with Accenture’s ecosystem partners and through investments in deep industry capabilities and solutions, cloud acquisitions, and talent, and helps clients shape, move, and operate their business in the cloud to accelerate innovation and achieve their digital transformation goals. He is also a member of the company’s Global Management Committee.

Over his 20-year career, Narain has led many innovative technology programs for clients across a variety of industry sectors, including financial services, high tech, software, and platforms. Prior to Accenture, Karthik led the high-tech business for HCL Technologies, where he was responsible for some of HCL’s marquee client relationships.

Prior to this, Jimmy was Deputy Head of Group Technology & Operations, where he oversaw the bank’s first technology development centre outside Singapore, DBS Asia Hub 2 in Hyderabad. He also oversaw DBS’ Middle Office Technology and Enterprise Architecture/Site Reliability Engineering. Also, Ng worked in the bank’s Consumer Banking Operations where he helped overhaul the ATM/Self-Service Banking management and harnessed state-of-the-art data analytics and machine learning techniques to develop and implement new auditing approaches.

Previously, Nuñez served as Coordinator of Quality Management and Technical Coordination Advisor at Hospital Garrahan. He also worked on the development of information systems for the SAME Province and was responsible for the implementation of solutions at the Inter-American Development Bank. His experience of more than 20 years includes various responsibilities in the systems area, both in private organizations and in provincial and municipal governments of Argentina.

Okada is the creator and executive sponsor of OpenFEMA—a project that ensures FEMA is providing timely, usable, and accurate information to constituents to enhance and promote a transparent and collaborative culture within FEMA. This growing open source and digital nature of information- sharing and communications were opened up for use by the media, non-profits, and universities immediately after the Hurricanes Sandy, Harvey, Irma, and Maria disasters that resulted in a number of outcomes benefitting storm survivors. It has also led to a unified strategy to reduce complexity in FEMA systems built around simplified web services, built on the same OpenFEMA foundation.

Okada has more than 30 years; experience in international relief and development with a decade in internet services architecture and two technology start-ups, as well as serving as the Director of U.S. Global Public Private Partnerships and Director of the Humanitarian Systems Group at Microsoft.

In India, the company's product offerings include 2G, and 4G wireless services, mobile commerce, fixed line services, high speed home broadband, DTH, enterprise services including national & international long-distance services to carriers. Prior to this, Randeep was CEO of Hutchison Tri Indonesia based out of Jakarta. He successfully drove customer-centricity and digitization-led efficiency and business transformation for 3 in Indonesia.

He has developed his career in large organizations such as Thomson Reuters as CTO for Latin America and the Telefónica Group, where he also held various Global and Regional executive positions.

With more than 20 years of experience engaging and partnering with stakeholders through major change initiatives in the implementation, design, and development of software, he now leads IT transformation at Medifé.

Under his leadership, Red Hat expanded OpenShift from an award-winning Platform-as-a-Service solution to the industry’s leading enterprise Kubernetes platform, with more than 1,000 customers spanning all regions and industries.

Previously, Badani served as Director of Product Management and Product Marketing of Integration and Application Platform Products at Sun Microsystems. He has more than 20 years of experience in the technology and finance industry in established and emerging companies.

Prior to joining Red Hat in 2018, Chiras served as Vice President of Offering Management at IBM Cognitive Systems. As part of the Cognitive Systems brand team, she led the worldwide business for the systems and software portfolios, AIX, IBM i, Linux, and the cloud stack. She has extensive experience in both business and technology, including technical roles that range from silicon technology to system architecture.

With more than 29 years of experience in network, server, application, cloud, and service-level management, Cruz has held senior- and executive-level product management and marketing positions at Cabletron, Opticom, Smarts, Empirix, Voyence, EMC, SevOne, and VMware prior to Red Hat.

He is currently working as an advocate for Kubernetes and Red Hat® OpenShift® and is a co-author of "Kubernetes Operators" (O'Reilly, 2020). In addition to his career as an engineer, Dobies is an Adjunct Professor at Villanova University, currently teaching Software Engineering and Senior Projects.

He has more than 2 decades of experience with a number of large and small organizations across the technology spectrum.

Prior to joining Red Hat he was CEO and co-founder of ManageIQ, CTO and Distinguished Technologist at HP, and CTO and co-founder of Novadigm. Fitzgerald has numerous patents across cloud and systems management in virtualization, security, compliance, configuration management, OS installation, and software distribution.

Huels is Senior Director for Red Hat's AI Services business focusing on Red Hat's artificial intelligence strategy, ecosystem partners, and customer implementations. As one of the founders of the Open Data Hub project, a reference architecture for building a Data Science platform on OpenShift, Huels enjoys speaking with customers who are exploring how to build out their artificial intelligence / machine learning (AI/ML) platforms.

He has held multiple leadership roles in product management since joining Red Hat in 2007. Prior to Red Hat, Johnson was a Senior Engineering Manager at MetaMatrix, Inc., pioneers in the enterprise information integration market. He has also held technical leadership positions at Vignette Corporation, Oberon Software, and Sybase, Inc., with a focus on application integration and data management technologies.

He has more than 20 years of industry experience in hybrid cloud, AI/ML, data analytics, digital workspace, and software-defined datacenter products and solutions. Throughout his career, Joshi has held strategic roles in product management, product marketing, Sales, and Consulting Services at Red Hat, VMware, Cisco, and NetApp.

Juengst has held senior technical positions at CloudBees, CA Technologies, Sun Microsystems, SGI, and Wily Technology. His roots in technology originated in the Aerospace industry where he used high performance compute grids to design rockets.

In addition, Kerner helps create and deliver security related technical content to the field, customers, partners, analysts, and press and has spoken at numerous events, including security conferences, such as RSA and Hack3rCon/SecureWV, and is a Red Hat Summit Top Presenter.

Kerner is a frequent author of security articles at various online magazines, such as TechBeacon, TechSpective, Increment Magazine, and more. Prior to her current role, Kerner was a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect for the North America Public Sector team at Red Hat where she presented and designed cloud solutions for a wide range of North America public sector customers. Kerner has 20 years of professional experience as both a software and hardware development engineer and a pre-sales solutions architect, where she worked on various aspects of security. Prior to joining Red Hat, she worked at IBM as both a Mainframe microprocessor design engineer and a pre-sales solutions architect for IBM x86 servers. She has also interned at Apple, Cadence, Lockheed Martin, and MITRE, where she worked on both software and hardware development.

She is responsible for taking a customer-first approach to portfolio messaging and positioning, enablement, and marketing campaigns.

These include cloud-native capabilities for storing, moving, transforming, and combining data for such applications as machine learning and edge computing. Prior to Red Hat, Piech held executive product roles at Magnet Systems (mobile app server) and Engine Yard (PaaS), after Oracle and BEA with product responsibility for WebLogic, Java™, and other enterprise platform technologies. He holds several patents.

He previously worked for Forte Software and Sun Microsystems as an independent software developer and consultant, building distributed software systems for the space, transport, telecom and energy sectors. Sharples served on the node.js Foundation Board of Directors and helped it transition from BDFL (“benevolent dictator for life”) to an open, independent foundation.

Currently, as a Principal Product Manager, Thacker is responsible for the security strategy of Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® and works as an advocate for security solutions within Red Hat. He particularly enjoys working with people to translate complex technology into deployments with practical benefits.

His team is responsible for identifying and evaluating emerging technologies that may impact Red Hat's market, providing company direction and developing the emerging technology for commercialization. Prior to Red Hat, Watt was the founder of the Hadoop Business and Hadoop Chief Technologist at HP and a Software Architect and Master Inventor at IBM Emerging Technologies. Prior to IBM, he worked for a number of consumer-facing software startups in the USA and his native South Africa.

Wesley has worked in a variety of software product marketing and product management roles for more than 20 years in both large companies and startups, helping define and market infrastructure and business applications based on open source software. His experience with commercial open source solutions dates back to the very beginning of Red Hat® Enterprise Linux®.

On television, Nanjiani and his wife, Emily V. Gordon, currently serve as executive producers on the Apple TV+ series Little America, which was renewed for a second season ahead of its series debut which released on January 17, 2020. Nanjiani also reprised his starring role as Dinesh on the sixth and final season of the Emmy Award-winning HBO comedy series Silicon Valley.
