    Don’t worry, the form details what to include. Please note that all submissions are due by November 15, 2010.

  3. Get ready to present!

    Speaker decisions will be completed in early January 2011. Red Hat will notify all proposed speakers of the committee’s decisions.

Important Dates – Call for Papers is now closed. You will be notified by mid-January if your session was accepted.

  • Nov. 29, 2010: Call for Papers closes
  • Jan. 3 – 7, 2011: Acceptance/Decline notifications sent
  • April 6, 2011: Submit signed release forms
  • April 20, 2011: Final presentation slides due

Speaker Responsibilities

By submitting a session proposal, you are granting Red Hat permission to publish your name, company name, biography, and presentation summary in conference materials, including the online agenda, event guide, and event newspaper. By submitting the session proposal, you warrant that it contains no confidential information or trade secrets. If you are acting within the scope of your employment, or as an employee, contractor, or agent of another party, you warrant that such party has full knowledge of your actions and has consented thereto.

Each accepted speaker will present in a one-hour breakout session. To ensure that conference attendees experience relevant and professional presentations, speakers are expected to prepare their presentations according to the guidelines and timelines provided. Speakers will have access to Red Hat professionals to help shape final content.
