"RHCE training provided a solid knowledge foundation for my day-to-day role, and I have found a gold mine of ideas and hints from Red Hat training courses..."
IT engineer
One thousand bytes (without gzip) will certainly not be sufficient for me to mention all the benefits I received from my RHCE® and Red Hat® training, but I shall try! At 22, I am now the youngest IT engineer in my company and most likely one of the youngest RHCEs (and RHCAs/RHCSSs) in the world. I have been fortunate enough to be employed by both a Fortune 100 and a FTSE250 organization, and I am a published technical author (MySQL Clustering, SAMS, ISBN 978-0672328558). As a Linux® engineer, I am running large web and MySQL clusters around the globe, and I am always looking for ways to improve uptime, scalability, and performance on my systems. RHCE training provided a solid knowledge foundation for my day-to-day role, and I have found a gold mine of ideas and hints both from Red Hat training courses and from excellent Red Hat trainers. In a sentence, RHCE is the Rolls Royce qualification for Linux system engineers, and it has opened the doors to a world of new development opportunities.
