Jeroen Van Meeuwen
RHCE of the Year, EMEA, 2008
"I have made a career out of my hobby. Long story short, there's no world like free open source software!"
Operator
While not necessarily eligible for this great title, I just felt the undefinable urge to run anyway. ;-) I'm (now) a Linux® engineer and have made a career out of my hobby. (I started using with the old Red Hat® Linux 5.2--it's addictive.) That same career got me my RHCE® certification last year, and since I've evolved from engineer to teacher, and possibly Linux coordinator for the company I work for. As an active Fedora Ambassador and developer, having founded the Fedora EMEA non-profit organization, I attend events like FUDCon Boston, Raleigh, and LinuxTag. More information about me and what I do within the Fedora Project is more properly aggregated at http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/JeroenVanMeeuwen (which I've updated just for the occasion :P). Long story short, there's no world like free and open source software, and to be!
