Red Hat® Certified Engineer (RHCE®) training is about thinking in the big picture, not just working with a part. That understanding of the broad fundamentals--and the range of capabilities of Red Hat software--gave me the ability to bring vision to what we can do as a business to get more value using Red Hat and open source technologies. I did a bit of good in the world outside of work, too, but more on that later. The training I have received from Red Hat, and the learning that I've done allowed me to [...] drastically improve system provisioning and management. I led the migration of the company from older Red Hat Enterprise Linux® releases to Enterprise Linux 4/5 and integrated Red Hat Satellite and Proxies for 700+ machines worldwide. This drastically reduced admin overhead for managing our environment and responding to change requirements. We can easily!
