Shyam Harne had spent nine years with a Windows IT profile and at the end of 9 years decided to move over to Linux®. "I joined the Red Hat® Certified Engineer (RHCE®) program by leaving my job and thus giving me the chance to fully expand my open source knowledge," said Harne. "During my preparation for the RHCE exam, I was given a job on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux platform. From both, I have become very happy in handling Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4-ES Servers on a project relating to Regional Transport for the Government of Maharashtra. The RHCE program has given me the knowledge to work with confidence and efficiency on this project."
