From virtualization to private cloud, part 4: Accelerate business results with your cloud

Consolidation, virtualization, and usage can help streamline IT operations but won#39;t take your business to the next level. Push beyond virtualization. Deliver agile, secure, scalable IT services through a private cloud.

More

Just because your private or hybrid cloud solution is delivering agile, automated, scalable IT services, it doesn't guarantee your organization will experience business acceleration. In order to maximize cloud gains, you need to shift consumption to primarily private cloud services and optimize the DevOps process.

In the final phase of the From Virtualization to Cloud webinar series, you'll learn how to complete the transition and make IT your preferred service provider.  We'll discuss how to actively shift demand to a service consumption model, and optimize and refine the pre-production-to-run-time hand-offs between development, test, and production staff.  By the end of this webinar, you'll know how to:

  • Optimize private cloud economics using utilization and service targets
  • Reshape behavior related to delivering and consuming IT as a service
  • Optimize DevOps processes to streamline cross-functional collaboration
  • Adopt allocation- and consumption-based metering and costing

Registrants will receive a link to the on-demand recording after the live event and a corresponding whitepaper for part 4 of the From Virtualization to Cloud webinar series.
