JBoss Enterprise Application 6 clustering for rollouts
You need to be able to roll out application and configuration updates easily and with zero downtime for your users. Join our webinar to learn how to cluster JBoss® Enterprise Application Platform 6 in a domain to easily roll out upgrades.
MoreConcepts in this webinar are from the all-new JBoss Application Administration II (JB348) course. This webinar is the latest session in the Taste of Training webinar series.
What are the benefits of a rolling architecture?
One of the main benefits of using the JBoss Enterprise Application Platform 6 architecture for rolling updates is the separation of clusters. With a rolling update architecture, clusters are smallerwhich improves the replications' performance. The various clusters share a similar server profile for ease of management, but use their own load balancing and replication strategies. If your load balancer is appropriately configured, you can easily roll out application upgrades without sacrificing uptime for users.
During this webinar, learn how to:
- Build a small cluster optimized for rollouts.
- Tune your cluster based on JGroups and mod_cluster.
- Manage application deployments.
