About Phil Simpson: Phil Simpson is a principal product marketing manager at Red Hat who is responsible for the go-to-market strategy and positioning of Red Hat’s business rules and business process management (BPM) products. He has held senior product management roles at an early business-rules pioneer, and senior marketing roles at several leading enterprise technology companies. Prior to joining Red Hat, Phil was a product manager for the data analytics firm Renesys and was a director at SeaChange International, Ironhead Analytics, and Rulespower.
About Kenneth Peeples: Kenneth Peeples is a principal product marketing manager, working on middleware at Red Hat. Including 3 years at Red Hat, he has spent the last 7 years working as a consultant for the government—for the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and Intelligence Community. Kenneth has received his Security+ and Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) certifications. Prior to working as a consultant, he worked in the telecommunications and healthcare industries, working on open source software since 1996 and in software development since 1991.
