Red Hat certifies Axway Synchrony Software Platform on Red Hat Enterprise Linux
RaleighUnited States, February 19, 2007
Business Collaboration Software Provider is also named Red Hat Advanced Software Partner
The Synchrony software platform enables companies to integrate, manage and share business data both internally and externally with partners. This speeds up and facilitates the process involved in doing business with partners. Synchrony solutions are used by over 7,000 companies across a number of industries, including Finance, Healthcare, Retail, Logistics and Government.
Axway was faced with growing demand from companies wanting to run their software on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating system. The company decided to offer a greater guarantee of expertise and know-how with Linux by joining forces with Red Hat and having its Synchrony platform, a full range of collaborative business solutions, certified under Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This certification gives Axway a new status, enabling it to support its clients in their plans to migrate to Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and provide the best possible support for Synchrony solutions on this platform. Axway clients will also benefit from joint support and maintenance services from Axway and Red Hat.
"By entering this partnership we have strengthened our ambition and ability to offer our clients a reliable, flexible platform while making the most of the advantages of open source technologies," explains Antoine Leclercq, Vice President of Product Management at Axway. "The Advanced Software Partner programme in particular means that we can offer our clients full integration of both Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Synchrony. This gives our customers the assurance that they can enjoy stability in the most testing circumstances and the highest level of services," concludes Leclercq.
"We are delighted that the Synchrony platform is now certified under Red Hat Enterprise Linux and that a business solutions company of the stature and quality of Axway has joined the ranks of our ISV partners. This is further proof of the demand from companies to have their critical applications supported on our high performance open source solutions," said Franz Meyer, SEMEA Director of Red Hat.
