Technical Collaboration of Nokia Siemens Networks and Red Hat

Nokia Siemens Networks is a newly merged company that combines the communication networks-related businesses of the two companies. Nokia Siemens Networks uses Red Hat Linux in many aspects of its daily operations as well as a component in its product portfolio.

This talk discusses the history of Linux use in the company, and concentrates on FlexiPlatform, the Linux-based enabler and the telecommunication applications built thereon. The talk covers also issues discovered and overcome, technical collaboration scenarios and roadmapping of the upcoming releases.
