This session will provide an update on One Laptop Per Child, a global education initiative designed to put low cost computing devices in the hands of K-12 students around the world. Get an overview of the project and Red Hat's involvement, followed by a discussion of some of the challenges faced implementing a novel open source user environment on a specialized device designed for low cost and high durability.
