This session will walk through how to take an enterprise application, benchmark, and analyze the results. It will discuss bottlenecks and how to eliminate them by performance and tuning. It will also show how to target optimal performance using Linux and internal or external disk arrays. An explanation of how anyone using HPUX, Solaris, and etc with enterprise disk arrays can move to Linux with the proper methodology will be presented.
