RHEL 5 is the first RHEL release which includes support for client logins using smart cards. The session will cover which softare components are used to provide this functionality and how a smart card infrastructure and a Kerberos infrastructure can be used together to more seamlessly provide authentication services for your network. We will also explore how deploying such a combination affects the user experience, and discuss possible future directions.
