From Flickr and MySpace to blogs and RSS, online services are at the core of the modern desktop user experience. Is it time to rethink the desktop in terms of people and their activities instead of documents and applications? This talk will explore the intersection of open source clients and online services, drawing on experiences from the Mugshot project.
