2008 Red Hat Innovation Awards

Red Hat is pleased to announce the results of the 2008 Red Hat Innovation Awards. The Awards provide an opportunity for the Red Hat community to share their stories and be recognized for their commitment to innovating and extending Red Hat technologies. Red Hat customers and partners worldwide were invited to submit a nomination, or be nominated by a development team leader, business partner, or supplier.

A panel of judges selected one winner from each of the categories below to be an Innovation Award winner. Winners receive a free pass to the Red Hat Summit, where their technological achievements will be featured in a press release and at an awards ceremony.

Red Hat recognizes 2008 RHCEs of the year

RHCE of the Year is a contest in which RHCEs write a short essay on how products and certification from Red Hat have made an impact on their work, their lives, and their communities. We simply ask: tell us your story. Some stories about the transformations they have made possible at a business using technologies from Red Hat. Some are stories about transformations in communities using Fedora. And some are stories about how people's individual lives have been transformed by becoming RHCEs. As one of our 2007 winners put it, "RHCE did not help me get higher on the ladder, it showed me a different ladder."
