Visit Red Hat’s booth at Splunk .conf26!

Connect with Red Hat during Splunk .conf.26 to check out key integrations. Splunk, part of Cisco, and Red Hat have collaborated to enable fast, consistent response to observability alerts and changing conditions, so you can reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR) and improve overall resilience for key applications and infrastructure in a modern IT operation, including AIOPs

The Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) observability and Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) solutions now integrate with  Ansible Automation Platform’s Event-Driven Ansible through both Ansible Content Collections and a  Splunkbase add-on. Choose the Splunk alerts for response, then flexibly design your desired response with Event-Driven Ansible. For example as you get started, you may automate fact gathering to expedite service ticket resolution, automatically renew expired certificates, or restart services. As you grow and expand, you can:

  • Automate incident response
  • Remediate compliance and configuration drift
  • Create AI/ML-driven remediation loops
  • Gain visibility into infrastructure provisioning
  • Automate security workflows
  • Perform change management audits
  • Employ closed-loop automation

Splunk has also harnessed data across the Cisco ecosystem, using data from Cisco ThousandEyes, Catalyst Center and Meraki to help organizations better connect the dots across their digital stack—from application to infrastructure to network. Using Event-Driven Ansible, organizations can understand the “bigger picture” across their stack–and then respond to changing conditions and issues quickly.

Speaking Session

Tuesday, September 15

3:00pm - 3:20pm

Splunk alerted you to an Issue — Now What? AIOps automation with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform [OBS2013]

(Expo Theater)

Stop waiting to act on what Splunk already knows. Learn to use an automated response model by combining Splunk ITSI or Splunk ES with Ansible Automation Platform's Event-Driven Ansible. See a demo of a closed-loop workflow where a Splunk alert triggers Event-Driven Ansible, fixes the issue, and writes resolution data back to Splunk. Using this joint solution, you are equipped to act quickly, accurately and with control– without manual effort – at any hour of the day for night for smooth ITOps.
