Automation is a key tenet of DevOps and is a valuable skill to have in many areas of modern computing from managing systems at scale to being able to automate processes for things such as Machine Learning Operations and managing virtualization environments.  Candidates who earn Red Hat Certified Engineer in Ansible have demonstrated the ability to use the core components of Red Hat Ansible to automate standard system tasks.

Candidates who earn this certification automatically extend the currency of any other RHCE credentials they hold as well as any other credentials below RHCE.

Exams

If you are a Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) and would like to become a Red Hat Certified Engineer in Ansible, you must complete the Red Hat Certified Advanced System Administrator in Ansible (RHCASA -Ansible) exam (EX294), which emphasizes automation skills.  If you’re not yet an RHCSA, you can start your journey by getting certified. By learning Linux system administration skills, you will develop a foundation that builds on your automation knowledge if you choose to pursue the RHCE credential.
